More of a ground level view here of the industry side. I am wondering if I should pull that larger building in the back further toward the front and angle it. There is still a 3rd track going in inside of the two main tracks. This will serve as a yard track, yard lead and a way to get from one side to the other without blocking the mains.

Im thinking perhaps a plastics company here?

Well messing around with building placements. Im thinking about maybe doing a scrap yard. Perhaps this will be on the other side of the layout.

South bound Montrealer on the Southbound main, running by the New Haven switcher with a small pickup from the B&M
For the New Haven interchange, I will use a Atlas GP9 in New Haven paint that will get the same treatment, except it will be patched over for Penn Central. Stay tuned for photos of the prototype. I think only one unit will work as the full time switcher. I cant see buying anymore PC power. Unless perhaps maybe a NH 44 tonner??

I have 2 Atlas GP7s in MEC harvest paint. I plan on doing a "paint over like the ST did on them in the 1980s. They will look like this one above. Anyone else know the numbers they had other than 25?

I really got going on the track laying for the "Riverside" section just North of where the line crosses the Connecticut River into Chicopee. The top picture shows a switcher pulling into the track that i represented in the upper middle of the layout shot. The track curving off to the bottom is the interchange with the Penn Central (former New Haven). This will perhaps be another small addition with the track running along the canal. Or I may use this for a staging yard. At least staging for the interchange with the PC. This interchange track is just out of sight to the left in the picture. It runs behind and to the left of the Photographer.

Here is a image of one of the outside curves. 21 inch radius. This I feel gives me a nice curve for passenger trains.
I am starting this blog to record my construction of a small B&M layout, based on the Holyoke Massachusetts area. This layout is in N scale and 4 feet by 9 feet in size. The time line is from 1972 to 1985. This may be narrowed down in the future. It is all Atlas code 55 track. It is controlled by NCE DCC.
